Aims & Scope

Founded in 1995 by the Association for the Study of Modern Italy, the journal's focus is the history, politics and social, economic and cultural studies of Italy, Italian affairs and the Italian peoples from the eighteenth to the twenty-first century.

Published quarterly by Routledge, the journal continues to provide:

All research articles published in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymized refereeing by at least two anonymous referees.
