Dr Selena Daly is a Lecturer in Italian Studies at University College Dublin. Previously, she was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her monograph, Italian Futurism and the First World War, was published by University of Toronto Press in 2016 and was nominated for The Bridge Book Prize. Her research interests include the First World War period in Italy, the history of Italian emigration, and the cultural history of Italy's avant-garde movements, particularly Futurism and F.T. Marinetti.
